huggeroftreesI have Muslim colleagues. I grew up in a highly Muslim area. I'm am furious that the Islamophobic incitement written by Boris in a newspaper has been completely forgotten (the Tories didn't even make him apologise) whereas Labour is pulling itself apart over antisemitism.
I don't want less investigation of antisemitism. I want more investigation of Boris's racism and dog whistle column writing. Islamophobic attacks increased (and the increase measured and reported) after his newspaper column.
If I were someone of the Muslim faith living in this country,I would be taking a note of who is ignored by the general public. Who's case is not taken up. Who doesn't get defended against clear incitement of hate. And I would be very afraid.
