This is not as bad as the visions I have been suffering all week. Stuff being non-collectable by collecting man/van. Stuff being lost in the warehouse. Stuff falling off the van on the way here. Stuff being lost at sea as the ferry sank mid crossing. Stuff being transformed through time and space to be someone else's stuff when I opened the boxes. You know, all the usual stuff.

But it's coming tomorrow instead, which gives me today to potter, move furniture around in the flat and generally attempt to stamp my personality on the place.

Everything is worth that first sunrise over the sea. I love my view.

In other news, I have been fighting all week against a stupid recalcitrant method. This even involved me feeding my soil alcohol on Friday in what seemed like a terrible waste considering I needed the booze a lot more. >.< Stupid method is stupid. Haaaaaaaaaate. But I shouldn't have to do it too often.

2. I have decided that the tingly fingers are a result of shoulder/back pain and NOT carpal tunnel as previously thought. Have added "visit physio/chiropractor/osteopath" to my to-do list, after "buy toilet roll" and "stop feeding alcohol to soil".

3. I am still enjoying Jeri Ryan being sneaky and amusing in Leverage. Seven of Nine would NEVER do anything like that. Very amused we are.

4. This week has been a most cultured week, I went to see Doubt last night - put on by the local amateur dramatic society type group. And then went out for drinks with the lot of them (friends of friends - it wasn't like I just followed them to the pub). AS I have decided to join them once I'm settled in town it was a relief to find them jolly nice folks. There was some Bafta/Oscars squeeage and I met someone who'd actually drank in Nelson's pub from Life on Mars, A2A. Definitely acquaintances to be cultivated :D
Then yesterday was the ballet having booked tickets at the last minute after spotting a wee ad on the theatre's website whilst booking the tickets for Doubt. Cinderella. A more classical version, less story telling more "lookit what our dancers can do". The step-sisters were AMAZING.

Anyway, must sign off now and use battery life for other exciting things. I've still got to sort out internet for the flat (in my defence I've been in it less than 24 h), but at least I'm closer to all the free wifi spots in town now. Consider me re-connected.

Oh, and "Come on England!!!" We can beat France. Can't we?
