♦ Anyone who looks at this entryhas to is encouraged to post this meme and their current wallpaper on their Livejournal.
♦ Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
♦ Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on.
1. This is an action shot of Ada Lovelace from The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage, a comic by the genius Sydney of great drawing skills.
2. It's taken from Lovelace and Babbage Vs The Client (pt 3) where Ada is doing some "percussive maintenance" on the Difference Engine as Queen Victoria is waiting (somewhat impatiently) to see what it can do.
3. I chose it cos Ada Lovelace is awesome, and it's well drawn and I like that most of it was black so my icons would stand out. But mainly because I had a new laptop and was all coffuzled as to what I wanted to put on it. You know. "My desktop must be deep and meaningful etc."
4. It was meant to be a stopgap and then I kept it because I liked it.
5. You really should read the "comics" (2D Goggles are your friend)
