I am better in French than Italian. Speaking is hard, but I can do reading and I'm quite confident wandering around Paris as long as I only have to say Oui and Merci in a polite manner. Anyway my Parisian mate does all the talking (and loves CSI and LOTR so ya know - first French geek I ever met).
